History, heritage and heartbreak is the inspiration for this album – delving into the history of Ottawa’s Lebreton Flats neighborhood and family ancestry. FIREWORKS & A SMALL BRIGADE: Fireworks & a Small Brigade was written by Olenka Bastian and Jonathan Chandler. It was released in May of 2017. It was engineered and mastered by Bryan Ruckstuhl and mixed by Jonathan Chandler. Mike Yates played cello on Time I Let Go, JF Beauchamp played trumpet on Counting Sheep Tonight and Dan Robidoux played piano on Counting Sheep Tonight.
